The George Cukor 1933 version is the oldest of the 'talkies' Little Women with Katherine Hepburn, then in her twenties as Jo but including a starry cast of Joan Bennett, Frances Dee, Spring Byington and Paul Lukas. It's very well acted and stands up magnificently in 2015 though the film was made 83 years ago. Unbelievable! A great film never goes bad!
