    Lust, Caution

Ang Lee pays homage to both John Huston and Alfred Hitchcock here, but his attempt at creating an epic film to match their best works fall short. The extra length of the film could have been used to further either character or plot development. The result is an elaborate soap opera rather than the nailbiter it could have been.
