I didn't hate this movie... it has its good moments, but it's definitely a 'slight' film. The humour is spotty and there are throwaway jokes that work better than the bigger bits that were obviously meant to be funny. Production values are low... this looks like the kind of film a bunch of art students finance with their parents' credit cards. I was hoping that it would be an updated version of Animal House... a movie that still makes me howl with laughter... but that didn't happen. There's some good acting here... I like Zac Efron quite a bit and he shows a lot of range, even in a dumb role in a silly movie. Seth Rogen is about the same as ever. Oh well... I saw this on Cheap Tuesday, so I don't feel too put out. I'd wait for On Demand unless you're desperate to see this one.
