It's basically a 2007 rip-off of Karz. It is clear enough in its intentions through the opening credits, through all the other homages to films of Bollywood. They're entertaining yes, but side-track immensely from the unoriginal plot. And where's the romance? SRK has zero chemistry with Padukone. She, by the way, disappears too much from the main action of the movie. Reminds me of the AB Sr heroines from the eighties. Yes, she is not integral to the plot, but she deserved more screen time. The Deewangi track is a pale imitation of the brilliance of John Jaani Janardhan.
