Paper Towns takes a look at the last few weeks in the lives of high school seniors in middle class, suburban Orlando. What is on their minds? The same things that were on my mind as a teen in the late 70s! (eg, climbing out bedroom window in the middle of the night to visit friends by climbing in their bedroom windows, stealing parents' cars, partying, making out, grades, parental issues, cliques, the prom, the end of high school life and university looming on the horizon, etc.) I think all of the actors' performances were very good and also very charming. It was very sweet, sad, funny, and ridiculous - just like being a teenager is. There were many interesting themes for younger (teens and 20-something) audiences including: family, friendship, young love and lust. I left the theatre giggling and smiling, and it seemed like everyone else did too!
