Prometheus, while visually stunning and well acted is vague and answers nothing. Very obviously a prequel to Alien, Prometheus covers no new ground. It's more like Deja Vu, we've seen it all before. Of course the eye candy is much better than previous versions, the 3D is nothing to write home about. With script writers such as Damon Lindelof who wrote scripts for the TV series Lost, yet again not much comes to fruition. The big questions are still not being answered, where do the Aliens come from, what are their purpose. Are they just unthinking homicidal maniacs and who is producing all the eggs. Michael Fassbender whose star is on the rise gives a great performance as does Charlize Theron. Prometheus starts out with great potential and then becomes your typical shootemup in space, not amounting to much. A very disappointing movie to say the least.
