In spite of a stellar cast of British actors, I could not give this movie more than a 5. Some of the technical aspects of this movie I found completely lacking. Instead of the excellence one has come to expect from the British movie industry, what one finds in Suffragette is dialogue that was often inaudible, terrible camera work and lighting that often left the viewer unable to see what was going on. These combined made what should have been a great movie, mediocre at best. To top it off, Meryl Streep who is usually pretty good with accents missed the mark with this one. Thankfully her appearance was limited to a few minutes only. I'd wait for the video release when there is absolutely nothing else worth watching.

I loved the movie but I agree with you at the horrible camera work and the grainy picture and terrible sound. Honestly the camera men or women who worked on this film should never work again.
And I would second that. The camera work was atrocious.
