I’m sure viewers will be treating home improvement box store workers with more respect after seeing how easy it is for employees to kill gun-toting sociopaths using off-the-shelf items. I was particularly annoyed when I saw one villain killed by a cordless drill with the inappropriate bit installed (need better product placement here) Even though the movie ran a bit longer than usual, it was well paced and interesting. All the while, Denzel Washington’s character kept advising people to “do the right thing” and “a fish does what a fish does”. As always, Washington’s voice is calming and comforting in contrast to the evil-doers who speak abruptly and coldly, and the street people delivering lines in frail tones. I liked it and recommend it; though it is well done I saw nothing new here, resembling a re-hash of an old Steven Seagal story.
