There is only one reason to go to see this movie. And that is that you want to cry. And if you don't cry during this movie there is something wrong with you. So for fulfilling its purpose, this movie rates a 10. It pulls out all the tricks and even though you know they are tricks to get you to try, they still work. But overall, as a movie, it's just okay and that's because it uses all the old tricks to get you to cry. Would have been nice to see some great acting. But it didn't happen except perhaps for Ansel Elgort. Shailene Woodly could have mailed in her performance. Not much there.
