    The Grand Budapest Hotel

As usual a visual feast in art direction and cinematography is here;this latest effort by Wes Anderson is a great improvement over his previous films. Ralph Fiennes is the standout as the concierge who goes beyond and above the call of duty to serve in the named hotel in a fictional mid-European country. Tasty images are included in the helter-skelter plot along with Fiennes's rapid-fire delivery. Newcomer Toni Revolori's lethargic, servile lobby boy is a hoot of a character. And it's fun to spot the 24 plus stars often hidden by heavy-duty make-up. (Check out Tilda Swinton's 84-year old countess!) And there is everyone from Harvey Keitel to Bob Balaban. All in all, very amusing.
