It's been a long while since I've actually read the books. Seen a couple of the films, so not a devote, but familiar. My viewing was in 3D, from near the front, both circumstances I'd normally avoid. Film itself, a good romp, if a bit formulaic, not unexpected on sequel number... ? The technical over self congratulations, a bit wearing if notable. Needs a well defined audio system, and big, clear images to really give its best! The cast, and production talent gave good credit to themselves, certainly. Saw it, was entertained mainly, but don't feel "classic" even remotely applies. If there's a next time, not 3D and 20 rows back.
