Not a bad movie, and 6.5 is probably the right score for it. The movie had periods of good action, and I was drawn to the fact that it was a true story. However, the essence of what this story just didn't sit too well with me. Obviously people are getting killed, but, they are soldiers from an allied nation and the way it's depicted, kind of annoyed me. They say it's based on a true story, but it should say "based on a book that says it's based on a true story, but the fact of if this is true or not is not really known"... or something like that. De Niro was also under utilized in this movie. And sometimes it's the attention to detail that got me. I recall how much more professional the shoot out scene looked in Heat when he was rocking it out down the street. It looked like he was trained. In this one, at the shoot out near the beginning, the way he was holding the m16 just didn't look professional. I followed it easily enough because I knew the players, but my girlfriend admitted she had no idea who was what. Anyway, overall, a solid 6.5.
