The Lonely Passion of Judith Hearne

Cinematic great Jack Clayton directs this romantic drama to perfection. Dame Maggie Smith is her usual great self. At first it seems the casting of Bob Hoskins is not going to be right for the film, but it works perfectly. The awesome Dame Wendy Hiller is on hand for support as is Prunella Scales in a short role.
