Adam Sandler could have been funnier. Burt Reyonolds could have been used more than just a token utility actor who happened to have been in the 1974 version. Chris Rock rocks in this until the screenwriter pulls out the Hollywood formula machine and creates an obvious hook to the plot. The goofy moments are great especially with 2 of the bigger sized cons. Maybe I should just look at this as a goofy movie, then it wouldn't seem like typical fare.
