    The Maze Runner

The Maze Runner is a meZZ of a movie it brings back The Shinning (1980) Maze, Stanley Kubrick style of horror with no way out with unimaginable things happening to you. Also almost coincidentally it brings to mind “Alien” (1979), Ridley Scott, but with Thomas as the hero, these aliens have mutated and become penitents and they consume people in a Rubik's Cube that changes shape from one state to a different one at any given moment, all the time. It copies unsuccessfully The Hunger Games and Divergent. So, where is the originality in this banal story that wastes the gorgeous Kaya Scodelario in a futile appearance that does not add anything to the film, except a girl? It’s just like a book about a group trapped in an Island fighting for dominance being almost feral in their expressions. We cannot see beyond the walls and how in hell, if there is one, this group came to life in an Alien Land? The end is far from bringing some coherence to this MeZZ.
