I am really surprised by all the low scores given to this movie. I found it to be engaging and very interesting, telling a little known story of wartime heroism on a very different level. The treatment of the storyline was respectful and did not need to take a detour into battlefield blood and gore to be effective. We do know that WW II was brutal and bloody and the loss of life was huge. This is not the story that this movie seeks to tell. Other movies have done that very well. And the last scene, where Truman asks "will anyone care in 30 years" - the visual "response" in the next image brought a huge smile to my face. What an endearing and special way to "fast forward" time. Bravo, George Clooney. I don't always agree with your politics but you make tremendous movies.
