With a largely unknown cast, famed director Howard Hawks presents the Christian Nyby sci-fi thriller that has become a classic from way back in 1951. It is good story telling set in the North Pole, something we don't encounter too often. Once a humanoid is found, the pace really quickens and we get crisis after crisis as to exactly what must be done to save the day. Strange how some small inocuous films become true cult classics. This said, the sci-fi mode is not really the type film I truly enjoy.
