M Knight Shyamalan shot his bolt a long time ago. I had hoped that he was back in form but no, he gets worse with each effort to salvage what's left of his career. "The Visit", like his career ever since "Sixth Sense", is one long broken promise. This boredom fest has a grand total of ONE "plot twist", no real suspense (other than wondering how long an audience will sit through such tripe), an inane camera gimmick that has been done before, and a story that is even more lame than the one about the motel swimming pool. Some good acting was totally wasted on this tripe. Don't let your money be wasted, too.
