I'm trying to catch up on some films of the late, great PAUL WALKER so I went right back to his beginnings. He could not have been more than 20. VARSITY BLUES is one of the very great, satisfying films that deal with sports (in this case football) and school, all happening in a small Texas town. I must admit I miss Paul Walker on the screen; With Paul, James Van Der Breek and an all-star, young cast make everything very worth while. Totally delightful film that just strikes the right chord with everyone.
