    When the Game Stands Tall

Inspirational movie telling one of the best stories in American sport featuring Coach Bob Ladouceur and the De La Salle High School Spartans. This is a film not simply about football but making life count and not throwing it away. There are several themes in this movie dealing with life, death, violence, sport, teamwork, community, brotherhood, love, and faith. If this motion picture was not based on real life events, you would think this is crazy script writing. I know there are parts in the film that may seem cheesy or cliché, but the fact that the movie is based on actual true events makes it all the more powerful.
