I thouroughly enjoyed this version of Robin Hood more than any of the others as it is not corny. The sets, casting and acting is spectacular. Why bother gettiing hung up on historical tidbits? History is not accurate anyway as it is written by the conquerers who twist and warp the facts to make themselves look spectacular. As with the journalists of today news has nothing to do with the truth. The truth is very subjective and the vanquished have no say. I don't care about history. The movie is meant to entertain and this is done beautifully. Will purchase the DVD when it is out and watch it with pleasure at my leisure at home. Absolutely well done.

Hello. I wanted to ask if you saw Robin Hood in a movie theatre in the Ottawa area lately? I can't find it. I think it was released a while ago. I imagine seeing it in the Theatre is better than on the DVD. Many thanks for your reply.
