    12 O'Clock Boys

This 2013 DOC, newly released on DVD in November of 2014 is a bio-documentary of some inane 13 year old name Pug and his obsession with an unwieldy African American dirt bike gang he wants to be part of, one that does just about everything that is dangerous and criminal in the streets of Baltimore somehow able to always have the upper hand with law enforcement because of some inane Maryland piece of legislation. I understand it all, wanting or needing to belong to a gang for safety in Baltimore which has really become one hell hole of a city to live in. BUT THE GANG IS CREATING MOST OF THE PROBLEMS! On a recent, essential trip to the city I found that past a certain hour, before 7:00 p. m. one will see very few people on the streets much like cities I'm familiar with for some time now like Buffalo, Detroit and Cleveland. However, New York ( speaking mainly of Manhattan ) which I inhabit frequently has become a people friendly city with few perils even walking back to the hotel very late at night. 12 O'clock Boys shows a very dangerous segment of society with the need to belong to a gang of the worst sort. It indirectly shows how these young men slowly but surely get hooked to a lifestyle that is disastrous. It's all a losing battle even with all the serious combats with police as some law or other has been passed forbidding law enforcement to pursue the gang on their usual, destructive behaviour on the streets in case innocent people get injured or killed. That said, it is totally ludicrous that the gang will be an ever present element of the city essentially allowing them to do exactly as they please. I understand the road dangers with these maniacs taking to the streets let alone officers in hot pursuit... but give me a break, something has to be done to stop these violent antics. How can serious law-breaking be tolerated if the police have their hands tied. I HAVE THE PERFECT SOLUTION. CALL IN THE NATIONAL GUARD TO SUBDUE THE VIOLENCE WITH VIOLENCE, ARREST AND STOP ESSENTIALLY WHAT IS CRIME. The Governor of the state has the capability and duty to call for reinforcements when all else fails... It's like invoking MARTIAL LAW for a time for the betterment of all citizens. THIS CAN ONLY HAPPEN IN AMERICA. NO COUNTRY WOULD TOLERATE SUCH BOLD FACED EFFRONTERY OF LAW BREAKING WITH SOCIETY AT RISK PERPETUALLY!
