When the original 300 was over it was hoped that the end was truly the end! NOT SO! The resurrection, 300: The Rise of an Empire is like SPENDING A SEASON IN HELL... the totally NON-BREATHTAKING digital style can only be matched by every single ridiculous thing and person that inhabits the film, From Xerxes, a reborn God-King, Artemisia the commander of the Persian navy and to Themiskokles who is out to unite all of Greece. All sorts of leaders and legends, destructive savage warships, a veritable Armada, female Amazon-like warriors and anything else that can be thrown into the mix MAKES THIS SO-CALLED EPIC THE MOST LUDICROUS NON-EPIC EVER TO HIT THE SCREEN. To say it was idiotic would be an understatement. From about the very opening with blood gushing at every moment like the T. V. series SPARTACUS, throats being slit with the so very fake blood spewing all over to the lopping off of heads as easy to do, apparently, as slicing a piece of bread, IT WAS ALL NONSENSE, OFFENSIVE and DEMEANING to anyone with half a brain. WHY DO THEY EVEN BOTHER WITH THIS UNSAVOURY MESS? It seemed nothing was shot with cameras and real film... all too noticeable, which made the experience even worse. And the acting... so stylized in the worst of FAKE ways. This is a DESPICABLE FILM!
