A Million Ways to Die in the West

Seth MacFarlane's A Million Ways to Die in the West can only be described at best as a stupid, crude western comedy. To be totally fair to MacFarlane, I will admit he had the look of the West down pat. And that is the only good thing about this junk. Seth calls it an innovative comedy. I call it an idiotic comedy. It's really a very sick and twisted tale that relies heavily on toilet humour, genital humour, plenty of graphic language on matters most people don't even speak of today, swearing like you've never heard in any Hollywood Western as far as I know. It even goes beyond Mel Brooks's sick western humour and style! NONE OF THIS BOTHERS ME; IT JUST MYSTIFIES ME HOW ANY OF THIS CAN BE CALLED INNOVATIVE. More injuriously, it insults everything and everyone in sight from Indians who like to have fun by taking drugs in a group setting to "little people" who are portrayed as some nightmare from The Wizard of Oz. The big name stars starting with Seth himself to Charlize Theron, Amanda Seyfried, Liam Neeson, Neil Patrick Harris, Giovanni Ribisi and Sarah Silverman all come off as cardboard characters with a screw slightly loose. It's pitiful to see them trying to act in this mess of a comedy that hasn't one funny line or worse not not one funny situation unless you consider watching Neil Patrick Harris taking dumps/ s***loads into random hats hysterical. Seyfried's eyes are repeatedly called too BIG " yeh like some chinam**; Charlize Theron laughs way too much to the point it becomes painful; why would we want to see Liam Neeson's b***? A Million Ways is a sad affair which seems much, much longer than its two hours. I was looking at my watch every five minutes. It felt interminable. I certainly don't despise MacFarlane like some Hollywood comedic actors who shall go unnamed, what the h***, like Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller and other such mediocrity, BUT he should not have made this film. It is a total "UNFUNNY" dud of a movie to be sure, but it's a pretty insulting one with potshots taken at everything in sight. To have believed this western would give me a laugh puts the joke on me. The worst of all, I suppose, is that this nasty comedy never comes off as decent and certainly NEVER FUNNY!
