Only thing keeping this at a 5 is Neeson's acting. He's always good to watch, and he does not disappoint. What does disappoint is the lackluster story flow, not required character development and side stories, weak supporting characters, under utilization of the main protagonist, and a flat ending. Also, wasn't sure why this was based in 1999? I didn't see how that added to the story at all. I know it was based on a book, but I really didn't see why that was important. If you skip this one, you won't miss much.
