    Babylon A.D.

Why is it that almost every attempt at making a post-apocalyptic film seems to tank (present company included) The last good film I watched in this genre that was any good was John Carpenter's Escape From New York. Since then, I've been left wanting. I knew not to expect too much from this movie since it was plagued from the start. The Director and Vin Diesel couldn't agree on anything and Diesel's resentment glared throughout the film. The story was predictable with a terrible ending and the cast was thrown together. It was as if they had nothing better to do so they signed up. Michelle Yeoh and Charlotte Rampling were more than out of place here. I rate this film with the disdain it deserves.
