    Before Midnight

I loved this movie. The negative reviewers obviously have no taste. Perhaps they can't read too well or speak proper English! This third installment in the on/off again romance between a couple ( Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy ) whom I like both as actors and the roles they play in this film purports to be a romantic slice of life, which is exactly what it is. There is not much action... of course not... YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LISTENING TO THE SPLENDID DIALOGUE ( listening to what these two have to say... the whole point of the film ) as well as viewing the screen. This adaptation for the screen was written by Ethan and Julie themselves. It won them an OSCAR NOMINATION at last February's Academy Awards Celebration (2014) for best original screenplay... and the two played out the last part of the love trilogy beautifully. Our society... young, middle-aged and old... but especially the 20 to 30 crowd have absolutely no sense of literary taste... and some might have forgotten the language of love. My pity for all these poor souls.
