Very well done if a tad preachy and heavy handed in parts. The acting was tremendous, especially that of Mark Rylance. Kind of hope to see an Oscar nod for this actor. The film got the somber tone as well as the look of the time period well. All the scenes in Berlin were riveting. I'd like to rate this higher but I can't get past Spielberg's tendency to preach at his audience. But for the story of three men, James Donovan, Soviet spy Abel and Gary Francis Powers who connect at a moment in history... this is worth seeing.
