Wow, great movie! Kenneth Branagh did an amazing job bringing this to real life. The wardrobe designs were almost identical to the cartoon, but more beautiful. Cate Blanchette was absolutely striking in her role as the step mother. The dorky step sisters were perfect, just like I remember them in the cartoon. Seeing Cinderella in real action will have girls wanting their Prince on a white horse all over again. There were a few different scenes but I've not read the book so it could be from there, yet it still stayed with the widely known Cinderella I grew up with at least 90% of the time. My husband went and he liked it. I was surprised because he's not a romance/children's movie kind of guy. He's a shoot 'em up kind of guy.
