Way too many folks have given this movie an incredibely high rating. Perhaps you are not looking at the criteria for a "10". Cinema Clock calls a "10" a masterpiece and this movie is miles away from a masterpiece. Gimme a break... the plot is obvious and the lead up to the message is over-drawn. Having said that, it is a good message not letting your life go by without acknowledging those you love. Frank Capra captured this in "It's A Wonderful Life" in the 30's. That movie was a masterpiece in all its glorious black and white. Christoper Walken made this movie watchable. Every time he was on screen it made it worth the ticket but the movie does not deserve a friggin' "10".
