    Don't Look Now

While somewhat of a horror pic with ESP warnings from the dead, a mad killer loose in Venice, we get an incredible journey of anxiety that questions all reality. Director Nicholas Roeg creates an almost dreamlike sense of beauty along with his cinematographer. It is all the more disquieting as director and DP take us through the back streets of Venice in this literary piece based on Daphne Du Maurier. This macabre film boasts great performances from Julie Christie and Canadian Donald Sutherland, then at their very prime. Don't Look Now can be very disturbing. Expect the unexpected including an ending that will throw you for a loop!
