    Fanie Fourie's Lobola

A very honest attempt to address issues of love and relationships not from the perspective of North American society but through African culture. An African's man and Zulu young lady fall for each other in this unusual romantic style comedy. It's not just about falling in love but examines the consequences in this ever changing society of ours. It doesn't hold back on telling the truth as it is. This cross-cultural serious affair is handled with humour and honesty. Though it's prickly subject matter this film is hard hitting when necessary. F F Lobola ultimately shows that cross cultural sexual habits and relationships remain relatively taboo no matter what part of the world you inhabit.
