    Force Majeure

Fascinating look at the fragility of a marriage. It might be said that hell hath no fury than a woman who perceives that her husband has failed in his duty to keep her and her children safe. An a event occurs to a family on a ski trip (found to be relatively trivial in hindsight) results in a situation which threatens the very existence of the family's core and also provides repercussions to others. People who have seen this film will likely wish to discuss issues of fear resulting from a family crisis and the nature of manhood. Understatement of the year: Tomas to Ebba: "You look a little irritated." Men may be asking themselves, "What would I have done in Tomas's place?" This film might be considered date night movie of the year, (except for Girl Gone.) Check it out.
