FRAY is certainly a theme or topic based on familiar material that has been with us since WW I (1914-1918) (a soldier back from combat, thrown into a civilization he hardly recognizes.) Though this indie with no known stars deals with the usual scars of war and the battle to readjust to society, it does so in a very congenial, loving manner. Perhaps it is the story of writer/director Geoff Ryan himself or that of a close buddy. In any case the film was enjoyable, my score indicative of the very familiar subject matter.
