It certainly was a kiddie movie and the characters would appeal to youngsters, under the age of 6. I am surprised though that none of the reviews written so far address the 3-D aspect of this film. Compared to all the other 3-D movies this summer, I found the detail to be incredibly good. It seems that we take this technology for granted and look simply at the story line. The animators were brilliant with the use of water on the hamsters or on the ground etc. The fireworks in 3-D were very realistic , and the fly buzzing in and out of the screen and through obstacles was very thoughtfully done. Adults might simply watch this movie for the graphics. The rest was terribly predictable. It could be that they built the movie around having special 3-Deffects and the story was secondary.
