This movie was quite unremarkable. The action sequences were fun and somewhat inventive and the CGI was good, but the acting was deplorable and the story was very clearly intended for a youthful audience. All the actors performed their roles in stilted, awkward fashion, but Marlon Wayans and Dennis Quaid, in particular, stank up the scenes they were in. The plot of the movie was pretty mindless, relying heavily on explosions and what-not for interest and offering only the shallowest interactions between characters. But, what else could one expect from this kind of movie? It promised silly, cartoon action and it delivered. Enjoy!

[...] This is for the teen age group, how old are you in your late fourties and you got nothing better to do?
Hey, kiddo [...] who says this movie was intended just for teenagers? I didn't see kids shooting the guns, and flying the planes, and being the heroes in this movie. Did you? [...]
Hahaha. I love how the pre-teen is saying its for a teen age group and not for an older crowd. GI Joe targets all those young at heart. Everyone know its based on the cartoon that came out in the 80's (before your time :P ) so its going to bring out an older audience (if pple in there 20's and 30's are even considered "older") Plus, is there really an age limit on special effects and surround sound? I think not!!!
