    Holiday Inn

This a holiday musical classic made in the early 1940s during the golden age of film making. The plot is original, entertaining, and funny. Strong performances are given by all the cast, especially by the two lead actors, Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. Of course, the biggest star of this production is Irving Berlin, who composed twelve famous songs specifically for this movie. Who can forget songs such as “White Christmas”? The song, music, and dance work so effectively that they complement seamlessly with each other and the story. Despite the commercial aspect to the plot, this is certainly one of the best Hollywood musicals ever made.
