    In Country

This 2014 war documentary is a puzzling one for me as it probably should be for anyone who views it. Let's not forget we are dealing with the Viet Nam War, one of the worst periods of American history. Why would anyone want to be involved in its re-enactment? It all boils down to this very HUGE question. There is something substantive missing from this DOC of Viet Nam and its re-enactors running through forests and fields playing at war. It becomes a documentary VERY SPARSE on solid explanations, even rationality and therefore rather disturbing and unsound. WOE! With war raging in so many places, the U. S. being at war since 9/11, why oh why would one want to play this altogether stupid game. I hated this doc with a passion!
