"It" plays like an inverted John Hughes film with a creepy-cool Carpenter-esque score. It's gorgeously shot and builds a sense of dread that's suffocating. If you're a horror fan it's a must-see. If you aren't big on the genre chances are you might take issue with some of the plot devices and the believability of some of the character's decisions. Personally, I found it bloody awesome.
