    Juarez

Great historical drama from Warner Brothers about the revolutionary Mexican JUAREZ who wanted reform for his country. Imposed Emperor Maxamilian and wife Carlotta are pawns in the plan to overtake Mexico by European (French) powers. Warner Brothers offers the most sumptupous production to the last detail. Bette Davis in slightly more than a supporting role is unbelievable as the mad Carlotta. The historical content is very satisfying as it is quite correct!
