Of course, it isn't awe-inspiring like the original film, but there are enough thrills, chills and gory kills to qualify it as worthy installment in the series. The CGI effects are better than I was led to believe and the surround-sound mix is incredible (as least, where I was sitting) Every roar and footstep seemed to shake the theatre. The story is interesting, as well. The negative aspects are the lackluster performances from Chris Pratt (the poor man's Channing Tatum) and the two children. Also, I want to get one of those bubble-cars that were used to transverse the park!
