    La Passion d'Augustine

La Passion d'Augustine is a very sincere film as it forces us to look at a part of Canadian history very few know about! I have it on good authority from two aunts what convent life was like in 60's and 70's Québec and Ontario as well, the really hard time many nuns faced in becoming more secular. The Church as well as the Catholic educational system changed at what I feel was too rapid a rate in those years, causing true upheaval in the lives of these religious women married to Christ!
