This movie was better than I expected and I expected it to be good with the full cast of excellent actors. People complaining about the lack of singing talent should forget about it. I thought everyone held there own for singing in a musical. Even to attempt to carry their voices deserved credit (Jackman & Crowe ) The story was exciting and fast paced, the almost 3 hours flew by. Where singing may not have been the greatest but still good the acting and expressions where out of this world. Hathaway had half the theatre crying, but then so did many of the actors and scenes. Sacha Baron Cohn whom I am not a fan of was also excellent, in fact I could not see anyone but him and Helena Bonham Carter playing the inn or brothel keepers, the pair succeeded in helping us in the audience to loosen up for awhile. If you are a musical fan, or a fan of any of the actors or just a fan of the book or musical I feel safe to say you would love this movie.
