    Like Sunday, Like Rain

Like Sunday, Like Rain is a bizarre film in my estimation but it has some qualities that I like and are meaningful. 13 year old Reg is a bizarre boy who doesn't do what 'normal' boys do, like take subways, avoid riding in cars, go to camp, he has only one friend and a great deal more... but then he is a PRODIGY! Leighton Meester, a musician, WITHOUT GETTING INTO THE PLOT comes to have a connection with this boy, as the film goes through its paces, with an outlandish ending that is almost insane if not criminal. The story is certainly a very sincere one how two people of totally different backgrounds and age can come to have a connection that, on paper, is as acceptable as can be. But down the line, what are the ramifications! I couldn't accept the conclusion almost at all for MANY, MANY good reasons as stated above.
