MYTHICAL BRAIN Let's start with the premise of the movie: "We use only 10% of our brains". Our brains work contrary to belief at a 100% all the time, it is a fallacy to think it doesn't, just ignorance. If a person has an accident any section of the brain affected affects immediately a function of our bodies, it is all interconnected. Now of all the films I have seen THE MATRIX is the one that made more sense and had a solid plot line and a great idea. Science Fiction at its Summit, it doesn't matter, it felt real and we connected with it and swept us of our feet like the First Alien did directed by Ridley Scott. Novel, menacing, with a terrifying presence, in an incredible adventure trip in outer-space that till now we won't forget neither will the 'first action' heroine Sigourney Weaver. Lucy leaves us bored and grounded, where imagination has no flight, no wings to take us further. It's all an absurdity. Luc Besson did great movies I grant him that, movies that were solidly anchored in reality with plausible stories that made us believe and entertained us. Who can forget: "La femme Nikita"," The professional" and the incredible acting of the very young promising Natalie Portman. Scarjo, made more sense and was more believable in "Under the Skin" as an extraterrestrial. Her Superpowers are supposed to be ‘Limitless’ " but fell in a ridiculous display of cartoon characters amazing feats. At least she didn't have like Superman her undies over her suit which is the most risible Super baby I have seen in my life.
