Not my type of film, but the pre-views, and friends persuaded me to give it a shot. The actors, overall were pretty good. Henry Cavill a good lead choice, for the times. Amy Adams always delivers. I thought Diane Lane and Kostner OK, but any good character actor could've brought as much, and need it more. Symptom of the problem here, overindulgence. The story drags and loses direction, at the expense of way to much CGI generated "action". Mano-a mano diversions aplenty, going on way past any point made. Wanton and wasteful. I was bored stiff the last 40 minutes... just wrap it, and get it over with. The Batman series reigns it in just enough, but Christopher Nolan's name in association with a film implies high tech with no restraint. Same here. The one a few years ago was a better "Superman" story.
