After a eight month drought of good films, Hollywood finally puts out a decent picture that is intelligent and well done in all major aspects of filmmaking. From a thoughtful script to slick art direction, skillful editing, direction and convincing acting this picture just works so well on so many levels, most mature audiences should come away satisfied. Nicolas Cage is superb, Alison Lohman is a real charmer and totally convincing, the ending is convincing and worked very well indeed. In my opinion this is a 'don't miss it' which equates to an '8' on the Cinema Clock scale.
