Chasing after the American Dream and actually achieving it. This was hardly a film I expected would thrill me. I'm positive everyone has seen such emotional, true stories before but this one tends to be on the non-sentimental side while being totally inspirational. What's fabulous is that it's a totally old fashioned film the entire family can see. Kevin Kostner in recent years has really been carving out a second career for himself. At a point awhile back he seemed totally washed up. Another great plus was not having to undergo some stupid action film with not a shred of anything worthwhile. Of particular note this film will teach you quite a lot about what one still calls minorities... their family ties, commitments, work ethic and the like. All very positive!
