    Nightcrawler

Jake Gyllenhaal is very good in this, meaning despicable at a high level. His character is the illustrated edge of all those unemployed, or marginally so festering in parents basements, mall jobs or call centres. Creation of the IT Dark Ages, out sourced opportunity because of it, yet worshipful of the morality that authors his situation. This is a small film, and truly could be set in any major city. I'd like to see what Spanish, Indonesian, Argentine and Chinese cast and crew could do with the same property. Well acted throughout, and Rene Russo especially. Very dark, fine tensioned and over simplistic. Liked it, not really, but you realize how many Louis Bloom's have constituency out there.
