Odd Thomas is not bad nor is it great but it is entertaining. My problem with it is that it is one more movie that deals with GOOD vs. EVIL. How many such films have to be thrown at us? Enough already! This said I did like the protagonist Anton Yelchin, a character who is liked by everyone in the film. Yelchin, of course, as so many other screen characters of late, possesses paranormal powers of seeing the dead almost at every turn, a man who will stop at nothing to prevent disasters of apocalyptic proportions. Let's face it! This all sounds like it could apply to twenty other movies of late. Yet I sort of liked it because the protagonist is such a caring, sweet kind of a guy who makes it all seem more than possible. So my 7 goes to ANTON YELCHIN!
